Carrie McClain is a Jacksonville born native who enjoys serving the legal needs of her community. She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2001 and then successfully attained her Juris Doctorate in 2006. In 2007, she specialized in the areas of Probate and Guardianship Law while working as a Judicial Staff Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
In 2011, Mrs. McClain joined the Guardian ad Litem Program of Florida to help promote and forward child advocacy for abused, neglected and abandoned children in Florida. She currently serves as a child advocate and helps to support children’s rights throughout the State of Florida. She is an active member of the Federal SAMHSA Grant partnership awarded to Duval County and charged with tracking and improving early education for children 0-5. Mrs. McClain also serves on the Florida State College of Jacksonville’s Advisory Board evaluating college education preparedness for real work expectation in Jacksonville.
Mrs. McClain concentrates specifically in the areas of Probate and Guardianship matters and is skilled in the areas of Family, Dependency, and Adoption Law. She specializes in delivering compassionate legal advice to those in the most sensitive of circumstances. The diminishment of the mind or the loss of a loved one and tending to their state of affairs after passing is Mrs. McClain’s area of expertise.
